Weekend get-away to Cameron Highlands

It was the middle of a hectic week at work when Daddy sent me an email saying that we should go for a short weekend get-away.

I hesitated, as I knew there will be a lot of work to follow up during the weekend before a major company event. Then I thought, what the heck, Daddy seldom asks me to go for a weekend get-away so we should just go.


We only had Saturday and Sunday so we thought Cameron Highlands would be great. Plus, the kids had never been there before as we usually went to the beach.

So off we went on Saturday afternoon. The kids had a great time at the Boh Plantation, Bee Farm and picking strawberries at the Big Red Strawberry Farm.

And thank God, the mud slide and flood only happened middle of the week after we left on Sunday afternoon!

We should definitely go for weekend get-aways more often as the short break gave us some time to relax in each other's company.
